The benefits of walking outdoors for our physical and mental well-being have been well-publicised over recent years.
Walking releases feel-good hormones that improve mood and studies have shown how walking helps to reduce stress and anxiety, increase energy, and help you sleep better.
And what better place to walk than along the beautiful Vale Coastal Path that enjoys breath-taking scenery dramatic coastlines and thriving nature reserves.
So when Bec Bland, a keen outdoor enthusiast, set up her Coaching Practice in the Vale of Glamorgan, offering Coaching walks for clients felt like the obvious choice. “Like most professions, even after lockdown restrictions lifted, Coaching
calls tended to stay on Zoom. I love being outdoors and with the beautiful scenery we’re lucky enough to have here in the Vale, I was keen to offer face to face Coaching walks for my clients.’ “My clients want Coaching to help them achieve positive life changes, achieve success and step into their true greatness and potential without compromising on physical and emotional wellness. So, the opportunity to walk and be coached has proven extremely popular.”
Transformational Coaching helps people create deep and lasting change in their lives. It’s positive and future focused and requires the client to think deeply about different aspects of their lives and beliefs.

We usually walk near the beach, it makes you feel relaxed and feels quite liberating. I find the walk and talk sessions much more beneficial than the ‘zoom’ coached sessions. There’s something about being outdoors that lifts your mood in general and gets all your senses working together.
